Back Again in Louisville
Back in 2020, WDRB Anchor Lindsay Allen left the station have her second child and spend more time with her family.
In 2022, after enough time with the family, Allen returned to the station.
Now, in 2024, WDRB has named Allen the new morning Anchor. Ironically, she is taking over for Anchor Sterling Riggs, who’s leaving to spend more time with his family.
"Most of you know I took a career break about four years ago when my daughter was first born and my son was just a toddler. For the good of our little family, it was the best decision I ever made. But I always knew I wasn't done," Allen said. "And now that Andrew and Victoria are a little older, here we are. A massive thank you to WDRB for working with me as I've navigated motherhood with young children and my passion for news."
