WDSU (New Orleans) Reporter Shay O’Connor is featured at the start of a rap video by Cash Money Records artist B.G.

The song titled “Pick a Side” in which B.G. describes the song on YouTube, saying, “I’m sick of n💪🏽ggas straddling the fence…If you don’t fuck with me don’t fuck with me cause if I don’t fuck with you it’s Fuck You…”

The rap song is full of words you can’t say on television and talks about killing people and using drugs. O’Connor plays the role of a reporter and leads off the video.

I am surprised that Hearst (WDSU owner) would allow their talent partake in an outside video. The fact that it is glorifying hate and violence seems even more strange.

Is this how a company like Hearst wants to have their talent represent the station?
