Longtime WTVF Anchor/Reporter Amy Watson is leaving the Scripps station in October.

Watson is retiring to be the caretaker for her aging mother, who is dealing with dementia.

Watson is one of the bright lights in the Scripps food chain, and sadly the company is losing another good one.
