WPLG (Miami) Morning Anchor Jacey Birch is leaving the AM shift, but not the station.

Insiders tell FTVLive that Birch demanded to be taken off mornings and that station management did so.

Birch moves to the Weekend Evening Newscasts and will anchor alongside Sanela Sabovic.

Layron Livingston who was anchoring the weekends alongside Sabovic, is being bounced off the weekend newscasts to make way for Birch.
