Scripps Station Airs Newscast from Last Month
As you know, many Scripps stations no longer air live newscasts but instead give viewers a pre-recorded newscast.
But, when it comes to stale news, check this out.
This past Saturday night, Scripps' WTVR (Richmond) aired their June 29th pre-recorded news.
Yep, the newscast they were offering viewers was one that was recorded 3 weeks ago!
It appears that they caught the mistake about 5 minutes in and flipped the switch over to Scripps News.
WTVR did come back to air the correct weather and sports segments, but it caused the newscast to run long.
But don’t worry, Scripps says everything is going great and the viewers love the new product.
