Nexstar’s WRIC (Richmond) took Deanna Allbrittin off the station’s 5:30 and 11PM newscasts.

She will now anchor the 4, 5, and 6PM newscasts.

Before the switch, Allbrittin was anchoring the 5 PM, 5:30 PM,6 PM, and 11 PM newscasts.

You might think it was a bit of a demotion, but she now has a new title. She’s the Weekday News Anchor/Development & Engagement Manager.

Don’t ask me, I don’t know what that means either.

But hey, it sounds fancy.
