MSNBC made the choice to sideline the hosts of one of the network’s most popular shows on Monday.

MSNBC decided not to air “Morning Joe” on Monday morning. The network opted to run “breaking news” coverage of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.

The Trump shooting took place on Saturday, so it was hardly “breaking news” on Monday.

CNN reports that the decision was made to avoid a scenario in which one of the show’s stable of two dozen-plus guests might make an inappropriate comment on live television that could be used to assail the program and network as a whole.

Okay, MSNBC….here’s the deal.

If you are employing people at your network, that you believe can’t be trusted in a situation like this, you need to rethink who you are allowing on your air.
