Homes were destroyed, lives were lost, and millions were left in the Texas heat without power, thanks to Hurricane Beryl.

While many in Texas are waiting in line for food, over at Tegna’s KYTX (Tyler), General Manager Elliott Longoria Moore is handing out swag to the station’s weather team.

Maybe not the best time to hand out station swag to employees. How about handing out money to the Red Cross, or food to those that need it.

Maybe after the power comes back to the millions without, maybe then you can pat yourself on the back and hand out gifts.

Still, not sure I would be posting about it.
