Sinclair’s WGME (Portland, ME) trying to tamp down a bit of a scandal involving video from their newscast.

Some person, posted what they said was video from WGME’s newscast, that showed a drag queen using a sex toy as part of an act.

WGME also took to social media to say that was NOT the video that they aired.

Many viewers did not believe WGME’s post, mainly because, many no longer trust the media.

After years of Donald Trump and many on the right trashing the media and calling it “fake news,” people still think WGME is lying and did air the video.
