Anchor/News Director Resigns After Investigation Starts
KTBS (Shreveport) Anchor/News Director Bill Lunn “resigned” from the station this week amid controversy.
Three Shreveport men had set up a fake profile of an underage girl to see if they could catch predators.
The men posed as a 15-year-old girl online, and they claimed that Lunn engaged with the account, talked sex, and sent pictures to who he believed was an underage female.
Lunn went to meet with the “girl” when the three men confronted him.
Lunn ran away and according to one of the three men, he yelled back to them saying he had a wife and kid.
Lunn later called the police to say he had been assaulted.
Police talked to Lunn and the three men, and everyone was released without charges. But, the Shreveport Police say they are still investigating the case.
Lunn “resigned” from the station after the incident.
