Execs at Low Standard Media should be ashamed of themselves, but they’re not. They’re probably out having a great time on a boat somewhere while the industry burns and shits on good people.

Her meeting with station management about contract renewal was the last day of her current contract?  That should be a red flag right there.

So they expect you to re-sign that day?

Many contracts stipulate that management has to come to the table no less than 30 days before the end of the contract.  And as a talent she should have been pro-active and approached them.

Reading your posts on TEGNA....when TEGNA (then Gannett) purchased the Belo stations 10 years ago, the Belo stations were all dominant #1s....(except wcnc in Charlotte). Then sadly the Belo stations became TEGNA'ized and lost their dominance, slipping to 2 or 3 in the ratings. TEGNA helped ruin journalism in the industry. And Dave Lougee's fingerprints are all over that murder weapon.
