Staffers at Nexstar’s WROC in Rochester took some time out on Tuesday to set up a picket line outside the station.

Our FTVLive cameras were in the bushes and got pictures of the workers protesting the station.

In Feb of 2023, employees voted to join the National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians-Communication Workers of America (NABET-CWA).

However, the union says that Nexstar and WROC refuse to recognize the results of the union election and have been unwilling to negotiate the terms of a new contract.

One WROC staffer says the station is a “Shit Show.”

Staffers at Nexstar’s KDVR (Denver) also protested outside the station recently.

Despite the protests, Nexstar doesn’t seem to care.
