When Nexstar launched News Nation, they promised it would be a down-the-middle network with no bias.

That lasted about 15 minutes.

News Nation boss Sean Compton is a Trumper who relishes Fox News. He brought in former Fox News boss Bill Shine and has hired a number of Fox News castoffs, or second and third stringers.

Now, News Nation has hired another Fox News castoff. But this time, it’s one who was even too unethical for Fox News.

Former Tucker Carlson Producer Alexander McCaskill. This is the same guy that was named in a lawsuit at Fox News, accusing him of workplace harassment and retaliation.

He is also the person responsible for declaring President Joe Biden a "wannabe dictator" on a lower-third on Fox News.

He is set to work on Dan Abrams's show.

Abrams has also appeared to move further right after joining News Nation.

Note: I have no problem with News Nation pandering to the right wing. Just like I have no problem with CNN pandering to the left.

However, both try to claim that they are not biased and deliver a down-the-middle product.

That’s bullshit.

If News Nation would just admit that they are trying to be Fox News Jr., I would have no problem with them. But, as they continue to try and pass themselves off as a (pardon the pun) fair and balanced product, FTVLive will continue to call them out.
