Over a month ago, FTVLive told you that WXYZ (Detroit) Anchor Brian Abel was leaving the Scripps station.

Now, we know where he is landing.

CNN announced that Abel joining the network as a correspondent for CNN Newsource.

He will be based in Washington, DC.
