Poppy is Popped at CNN
Back on April 19th, FTVLive wrote, “(CNN’s Mark) Thompson also hinted that there will be more cuts at CNN. I can assure you, forget the hints, there will be more cuts at CNN. As CNN prepares for the future, some of the bigger names from the past will be left behind.”
CNN’s Poppy Harlow became one of those names as it was announced that she was leaving the network.
Harlow, who joined CNN in 2008 and most recently was on CNN’s ever-evolving, but never evolved morning show.
"I got to experience what makes this country great," Harlow wrote in an email to co-workers. "I sat with people in their best moments and in their hardest. They taught me about the human condition and what binds us."
"Poppy is a unique talent who combines formidable reporting and interviewing prowess with a human touch that audiences have always responded to," Thompson said.
Trust us, Harlow is not the last name that will be exciting CNN in the near future.
