Anchors Away at WCBS
As CBS continues to make cost-cutting moves, two NYC Anchors are leaving the anchor desk.
WCBS’s Dana Tyler has been with the station for over three decades and is leaving soon. Her co-Anchor, Dick Brennan, is also being replaced on the 6PM newscast.
Maurice DuBois and Kristine Johnson, who currently co-anchor the 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts, will now do the 6:00 news as well.
A source tells FTVLive that Brennan is being knocked down to Reporter.
As for Tyler, it’s said she will contribute stories and interviews on WCBS and the station’s streaming platform.
We’ll have to wait and see as to how often this happens.
