WNBC’s Chuck Scarborough is celebrating 50 years working for the NBC O&O.

The 80 year old Scarborough began his career with WNBC on March 25, 1974, 50 years ago today.

Today, the Empire State Building will be illuminated in Scarborough’s honor.

That is one hell of a run.
