It appears that Gray’s WALA (Mobile, AL) has parted ways with Anchor Byron Day.

Day’s picture and link to bio was on the station’s meet the team page a few days ago, but now it’s missing.

Day’s bio is still listed on the station’s website, but he no longer appears on the team page.

Day was the Gray station’s 5 and 10 PM Anchor.

Day has been in the business for decades, working first in sports and then moving over to news.

Now, it appears that he has abruptly left the station.
