Last week, in a Patron-only story, FTVLive told you that KVEO/KGBT in the Rio Grande Valley reported that a TV tower is in danger of falling and is urging residents to evacuate the area.

In the story that the Nexstar station posted online, they did not mention that the tower was actually theirs.

They did report that there was a “slight possibility of a collapse.”

Here’s an update, it collapsed.

It was controlled, but it still went down.
