Looking at this post and headline on WVIT (Hartford) and you may think this is another story of cops crossing the line.

But, when you read the story, you find out that the mother’s son fired at the police, and then the police returned fire.

Yes, the headline is true: the police shot her son, but it certainly comes off as biased against the police.

Did WVIT go and interview the mother of the police officer who was shot at?

This punk fired at cops and got capped, why is the station trying to make this story about the poor guy that died and his family.

I’m sorry, but this headline comes off as anti-police, and it certainly is not fair or balanced.
