KXAN Chief Meteorologist David Yeomans is leaving the Nexstar station after a dozen years.

Former KXAN Chief Meteorologist Jim Spencer is returning to the station to fill-in while the KXAN looks for Yeomans’ replacement.

Yeomans posted about his exit but didn’t say where he’s headed next. But, don’t be surprised if he doesn’t end up in Chicago.
