Hi Scott,

I think this hire is fascinating.

After a mass exodus the last year due to little to pay raises with contract renewals, how is Nexstar and WXIN affording such a big name in Indianapolis? Offers to renew ranged from no raise for less than $1000 a year, which isn’t much of a difference in a paycheck.

Somehow the money came in to hire Rafael? Seems like a slap in the face to their employees and anyone who left because they simply couldn’t afford to stay.

Just my two cents.

You're kidding, right? 

That throwback picture with the N-word was a plant, right?  I would have thought the people at a legacy station like KGW had more intelligence than that.

Please check with KGW in the next couple of days and report back to us that the person (s) responsible for allowing that throwback picture on the air, has (have) been summarily fired.

I've done several Red Carpet shows for the big award shows, and there were definitely no pictures allowed with your credentials.

There were a few PAs that posted on social media and had a stern talking to from the events staff and had them taken down until after the event was over.  It is a security issue. 

In this day and age it doesn't take much to fabricate a credential especially when they have zero security features.
