WDRB (Louisville) Reporter Molly Jett is exiting after 5 years at the station. She didn’t say what’s next.

This is what she posted to her IG:

My time at WDRB is coming to an end. After an amazing and fulfilling 5 years in TV news, I’m hanging up the microphone and turning the page on this chapter of my life in order to pursue my passions in a new way. Sunday, January 12th will be my last day on-air.

This announcement is bittersweet. Leaving WDRB and local news was not an easy decision, but this holiday season I am so grateful for the lifelong friends I’ve met, stories I’ve had the privilege to help share, and memories made.

To my loving family and friends, the bosses who took a chance on me, and the amazing co-workers and viewers who’ve supported me every step of the way: thank you. Your support has made this career truly special.

Please keep supporting team WDRB and stay in touch! This is not a goodbye. Jack and I are staying in Louisville! Exciting things on the horizon — stay tuned for what’s next❤️
