WTIC (Hartford) Anchor Alexa Farrell has announced her departure from the Tegna stations, saying, “It has been the honor of my life to work on a TV station that I grew up watching with my grandparents.”

But here’s the thing: Farrell only stuck around the station for 6 months. Farrell said her time on WTIC will always hold "a special place" in her heart.

Huh? You were there for 6 months!

She says that she has a “new adventure coming up.”

Hopefully, one that last longer than a cup of coffee.
