Yesterday, Scripps lost nearly 40% of its value. This selloff comes after Scripps reported that their revenue climbed 26% in the third quarter. But, they missed estimates by a lot.

On Friday, a number of staffers at Scripps News will be walking out the exit for the last time at Scripps. FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that Scripps was going to lay off many people at Scripps News.

“If not for your (FTVLive) breaking the story of the layoffs, I am positive they weren’t going to tell us until AFTER the election,” said one Scripps employee to FTVLive.

Scripps says it plans to have a slimmed-down version of Scripps News that appears they will be making it an anchor-less, producer-less, writer-less broadcast. Huh?

Anyway, if Scripps stock keeps failing, they may not have a company left to do anything.
