I’m old enough to remember network Journalists that were tried and true and would never celebrate a wildfire.

ABC News reporter Jaclyn Lee had to do a liveshot on World News Tonight about a major fire in Oakland, California. The fire forced hundreds from their homes. Many unsure they’d come back to one. But she had the nerve to celebrate because she went LIVE with David Muir!

Are you kidding me? A network news reporter acting like THAT! She wasn’t even in Oakland for the LIVE report! She was in Los Angeles! Oakland is 360 miles away from LA!!!

Why didn’t ABC News use a KGO Reporter in Oakland?!? I bet even that person wouldn’t be celebrating like this network Reporter.

Adding insult, it took 9 people to pull this off! She thanks all 9! 

Again, she wasn’t even in Oakland. 

I’m sorry, ABC News owes an apology to the people who were impacted by the fire.
