A week ago, FTVLive told you that WKYC Met Hollie Strano had started her reputation-rebuilding tour.

Strano was busted back in November after crashing her car. She plead guilty to driving drunk.

On January 24th, FTVLive wrote, “Now, if I were a betting man, I would wager that you will see Strano return to the Tegna station as the February ratings get started. I know that sounds cynical, and surely, a TV station would not use the arrest and rehab of one of their anchors to try to goose the ratings in the book.”

This week, Strano said she is returning to work. “For each of you that have inquired if I’m returning to work, I am. Stay tuned. I am taking care of myself first and foremost and can’t wait to see you,” Strano posted on social media.

WKYC GM Micki Byrnes confirmed that news, “Yes, Hollie will be returning to WKYC sometime in the next few weeks. Her priority, and ours, is her health.”

Tegna insiders tell FTVLive that don’t be surprised to see Strano return to WKYC on the weekend shift for a while, before moving back to weekdays.
