Jim Parsons started working at WTAE (Pittsburgh) in 1998 as an Investigative Reporter.

In 2013, Parsons went behind the camera, becoming the station’s Assistant News Director.

In 2016, he was bumped up from the Deuce to the News Director chair.

Now, at the beginning of 2024, Parsons has decided to retire from the Hearst station.

That is a damn good run.

He’s doing something that many ND’s don’t get the chance to do.
