Of all the NFL playoff games played over the weekend, only one game was close.

The Chiefs killed the Dolphins (yeah). The Packers smoked the Cowboys and the Texans beat the Browns by over 30 points.

The only game that was close was the Detroit Lions and the LA Rams. The Lions squeaked by with a 1-point win.

But fans watching the game on KXAS in Dallas were not able to see the end of the game.

The NBC O&O did a weather cut-in during the last minutes of the game. This set football fans in the Dallas viewing area off. Insiders tell FTVLive that the phones at the station blew up, along with email and social media.

After the station got lambasted, KXAS Chief Met Rick Mitchell claimed it was a mistake.

Not all viewers were happy with his explanation.

Between the Dallas Cowboys choking again in the playoffs, and KXAS ruining the only good game this weekend, the Dallas fans are pissed.

I have a feeling the station will be feeling the sting from this move, for quite some time.
