Sources tell FTVLive that NBC Chicago Senior Vice President Sally Ramirez informed the staff that WSNS (Telemundo) VP of News Diana Maldonado is leaving the station this week.

Under Maldonado’s watch, the Telemundo Chicago team unionized and the NBC suits were not happy.

We’re not sure if this was Maldonado’s choice to leave or not, but as one insider told FTVLive, “a change is needed.”
