Claudine Ewing has been working at Tegna’s WGRZ in Buffalo since 1998.

After years on the weekend shift, she is finally bumped to the weekday 5:30 PM newscasts.

Ewing replaces Michael Wooten, who left the station after getting a lowball offer.

Now, Ewing is finally getting the nod.

It shows that if you join the Tegna station and spend years on the weekend shift, maybe, just maybe, after 2+ decades, you might land a weekday job.
