A few days ago, FTVLive told you that longtime WGAL (Lancaster, PA) anchor Janelle Stelson announced that she was retiring from the station. The next day, she signed off.

It appears that Stelson is leaving to make a run for Congress. It is expected that the former Anchor will run in the Democratic primary for the 10th Congressional District, currently held by Republican Scott Perry.

Going from the job of Journalist, which many people dislike, to the job of a politician, which everyone dislikes, seems like a bad move.
