Last place news station WKBW (Buffalo) used the Buffalo Bills Monday Night Football Game to debut a new news set at the station.

The Scripps station built the set in the larger studio, which was vacated when the long-running AM Buffalo program was finally canceled this past June. 

The set features new graphics and a large video wall.

The new set looks clean, but time will tell if it helps. WKBW was once the blowtorch of Buffalo In the news ratings, but was run into the ground by Granite Broadcasting and then General Manager Bill Ransom.

Scripps bought the station and has invested money into it but has had no luck pulling it out of the ratings basement.

Not sure a new set will do that, either.
