According to reports, Nexstar’s News Nation is close to hiring another castoff at the struggling cable news network.

The Daily Mail reports that Amy Robach is in talks with Nexstar to join the network for a new show tentatively titled Robach & Co. starting in January. 

DM says that Nexstar has dropped plans to have her lover T.J. Holmes on their station as staff worry it will look like a 'dumping ground' for disgraced TV news people.

I have some news for Nexstar; that ship has long sailed and is in the middle of the ocean.

The show is said to be scheduled for primetime and isis being described within the network as a weekly talk/sit-down with different news makers and human interest stories around the world.

If Robach joins News Nation, she is expected to make far less money than what she was paid at ABC.
