WNYT (Albany) Sports Anchor/Reporter Ashley Miller announced she is leaving the station and TV news altogether.

Yesterday, Miller announced on-air she is expecting her first child and has accepted a job with North Colonie schools, her alma mater.

“I came to WNYT as a young pup in the industry and I leave feeling like a veteran. I have lived my dream of doing sports on TV in my hometown where my family and friends could watch me. It has been a privilege,” Miller said on Facebook. “I’ve made friends who will be a part of my life forever and have met people who have changed me as a journalist and as a person. Four months into this job I started dating the man who is now my husband and thankfully I get to keep him.”
