I saw this story on the Fox News website and also saw the same story on a number of Fox O&O’s.

The story says that Hawaiian surfer Nick Kapule came close to a “massive 20-foot great white shark.”

Also, the headline says it was an “unsettling encounter” with the great white.

But, if you watch Kapule’s video he says a few times that it was a tiger shark and not a great white. He also doesn’t seem unsettled in the least. He is seen talking to his buddy, that was surfing with him.

Apparently, Fox News needed to spice up the story, and the facts be damned.
