While CNN’s Jake Tapper says that morale at the network is the best it has been in years, the same can not be said for the ratings.

One of Chris Licht’s last moves before getting fired at CNN was bumping Kaitlan Collins to primetime.

She officially took over the 9PM hour on CNN this week.

It was not a ratings hit.

The debut of “The Source with Kaitlan Collins” on CNN posted 540,000 viewers and 83,000 with A25-54.

The show finished in last place last in cable news across the board. Hannity on Fox secured 2 million viewers and 188,000 with A25-54, according to Neilsen.

Collins’ debut lost to repeats of shows including Golden Girls, SpongeBob, South Park, Seinfeld, Friends, and Modern Family. Additionally - this marked the lowest-rated Monday CNN has had at 9 PM/ET with A25-54 since January.

The morale might be better, but the ratings suck.
