Many news outlets are trying to figure out why viewers are not watching the newscasts like they once did.

Also, trust in local TV news is at the lowest point in history.

Check out the social media page of KLAS (Las Vegas) Anchor Ozzy Mora. It is loaded with selfie after selfie and little or no news value.

Mora has been with the Nexstar station since the beginning of the year. Despite being there for seven months, I could not find a single story, that she did that appeared to be an enterprise story.

Maybe I missed it, or maybe, she could take some time away from the selfies to make contacts, work sources (presuming she has some), and make the newscasts better and something viewers might want to watch.

I’m not sure posting selfie after selfie is really considered journalism.
