Fox O&O WNYW decided to let an Actor anchor one of the station’s newscasts.

Kalen Allen anchored the news with Rosanna Scotto.

The station has Journalists on staff but handed the anchoring off to an Actor and social media influencer.

Allen’s social media bio says that 99.9% of the time he’s joking.

Apparently, so is Fox 5 in letting him anchor.
