Nexstar’s WHO (Des Monies) says that after 13 years, they will no longer run the segment the Agribusiness Business Report on the morning newscasts.

On the WHO website, the station says, “The reports were independently produced by the Agribusiness Association of Iowa. That group has chosen to cease producing them.”

In other words, yes it was a paid-for segment in the newscasts and now that they are no longer going to pay, the segment is being shut down.

No word if the segment will be replaced by real news or sold to another group or business.
