Many on the left were celebrating the fact that Fox News was about to fire Laura Ingraham.

The left lit up Twitter celebrating that Ingraham was about to be sacked.

But, Fox News quickly poured cold water on the rumor saying that “Laura Ingraham, the top-rated woman in cable news, is now and will continue to be a prominent host and integral part of the Fox News lineup."

But, what Fox News did not say was Ingraham going to lose her spot in primetime.

If the rumors are true, it appears that Ingraham will in fact be demoted, although don’t expect Fox News to say it like that.

Matt Drudge scooped that both Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld will move to prime time slots. If that happens, it would mean that there would be no room in prime for Ingraham.

The likely bet is she will be moved to either 7 PM or 11 PM. Some think she could be pushed to the weekends.

If she is moved to the weekends, that is a huge demotion and there is no way Fox News could spin it any other way.

But, if she’s moved to 7 or 11, Fox News will try and tell you it is basically an extension of prime.
