CBS Names a New ND in Dallas *
CBS announced its new News Director for their Dallas properties.. Meagan Harris has been appointed to lead the news teams at KTVT-TV (CBS 11), KTXA-TV (TXA 21), the CBS Texas streaming channel, and CBSTexas.com.
Harris, a familiar face in the Texas media landscape, will officially assume her new role on Monday, June 5. Having spent a significant portion of her career in Texas, including a decade in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, Harris brings a wealth of local knowledge and expertise. Most recently, she served as the News Director of NBCLX, a multiplatform national news network targeting millennials. In her role at NBCLX, Harris oversaw the production of live newscasts originating from KXAS-TV, the NBC-owned station in Fort Worth. Over the past four years, she played a vital role in transforming NBCLX from a concept to a fully operational news network.

Harris brings a diverse range of experience to her new position. Prior to her time at NBCLX, she served as the News Director at WTLV-TV and WJXX in Jacksonville, Florida since 2015.
