Every TV newsroom I worked in had a rule that you never aired pictures of an uncovered dead body.

But KOKI in Tulsa had no problems posting a dead body on the station’s social media.

This was their Twitter post, the body can be seen in the shadow under the bridge.

The station also posted the picture to its Facebook page and only deleted the picture after viewers spoke out.

KOKI kept the post up on their Twitter, before finally deleting that post as well.

The guideline is simple, don’t post pictures of uncovered dead bodies. How would you feel if that was your mom or sister’s body laying there?
