On Friday, FTVLive told you that KWTV’s (Oklahoma City) news chopper sustained a lot of damage while covering some nasty weather.

The chopper’s windshield was smashed by hail, while the helicopter was in the air.

KWTV is owned by Griffin.

On the same day, Griffin’s KOTV in Tulsa news chopper was also damaged.

KOTV’s chopper was in a hanger that was hit by a tornado and it appears that the chopper is a total loss.

Take about a double whammy.
