Amber MacArthur wears many hats. She’s described as a TV Host, Entrepreneur, Author, and Speaker.

She also was a tech journalist for years on TV in Canada. I have followed Amber Mac for two decades and she has always impressed me.

I also subscribe to her newsletter and this week she had an interesting take. I wanted to share It with you.

“In business and in life, there are two kinds of people: those who invent problems and those who find solutions. With social media driving so much of today's narrative, it's easier than ever to let invented problems distract us.

As one example, this weekend I found myself spending too much time trying to rationalize why Twitter is now labeling media accounts instead of limiting hate speech. Unfortunately, this is another case of a leader inventing small problems instead of fixing big issues. Be wary of this ongoing distraction.”

By the way, Canada’s CBC became the latest media organization to leave Twitter.
