When longtime WLS (Chicago) Anchor Alan Krashesky retired, it took the ABC O&O sometime before filling his old role.

And it appears that it takes two people to fill his shoes.

WLS announced that veteran anchors Rob Elgas and Ravi Baichwal would fill Krashesky’s spot in the anchor chair.

Elgas will join the 10 p.m. newscast and 7 p.m. livestream with Cheryl Burton while also co-anchoring the 4 p.m. news with anchor Judy Hsu. Baichwal will transition from weekend duties to co-anchoring the 5 and 6 p.m. weekday newscasts.
