The other day, FTVLive told you that Robert Bennett, a Senior Producer at Nexstar’s WAVY-TV in the Hampton Roads was being asked to produce three shows.

Bennett is scheduled to produce his normal 6 PM newscast and is also told he will be producing the 10 and 11 PM.

Apparently, the station is short on Producers, and now one guy is doing the work of three.

He posted about the new schedule on his Facebook page, and when FTVLive pointed out the post in a story, the Nexstar suits were not happy.

Bennet jumped back on Facebook with a follow-up and pointed to the FTVLive story.

Maybe, the Nexstar corporate people should worry more about filling the open positions in their newsrooms and not stretching the staff so thin and less about who is saying what to FTVLive.
