FTVLive heard from two sources about an incident at The Firm’s station in Detroit.

Reports of a man with a gun near WJBK.

The staff was sent a brief email saying, “Please be advised, Fox 2 is currently under lockdown - a gunman was spotted in the area. We are alerting the local police and corporate authorities. Please use extreme caution.”

I looked at the station’s website and Twitter but saw no mention on the incident.

Sources tell FTVLive that other Motown stations beefed up security after hearing about what was happening at WJBK.
