KOLD (Tucson) Meteorologist Stephanie Waldref left the station a few weeks ago but did not say where she was headed.

Well, she has now popped back onto social media to say that she is staying in Tucson and will be the communication coordinator with the Visit Tucson, the city’s visitors bureau.

While Waldref likely has better hours, I don’t think she is paid much better that she was in TV.

Here is a job posting for her current gig and it paid up to $40,000 a year.

Maybe Gray’s KOLD was really cheap, but leaving your “dream job” for just 40 G’s doesn’t seem worth it.

But hey, that’s just me….
