Robert Bennett is a Senior Producer at Nexstar’s WAVY-TV in the Hampton Roads.

He normally produces the station’s 6PM newscast, but now, along with doing the 6:00, he will also be producing the 10:00 and the 11PM newscasts.

Oh, and he is having back surgery and will be producing all the newscasts from his home. He posted about this on his social media.

When you spread a Producer thin like this, there is no doubt that the product will suffer. In the meantime, Nexstar saves the money that they are not paying for other Producers.

I really hope that Nexstar is giving Bennett a big bonus for carrying all the extra weight.

No wonder why the guy needs back surgery.
